As we step into 2026, I’ve taken time to reflect on what 2025 truly highlighted for me as CEO: the way clients and businesses need financial leadership has fundamentally changed, and so have their expectations of advisors.
Throughout 2025, I spent a significant amount of time alongside business owners and leadership teams navigating uncertainty, complexity, and rapid change. What became increasingly clear is that businesses no longer want static reports or advice delivered after decisions have already been made. They want clarity, pace, flexibility, and trusted senior insight, without the cost, rigidity, or delay of traditional models.
This belief is at the heart of why we built The CFO HQ. Over the past year, we continued to evolve our modular, on-demand advisory model so clients could access CFO-level leadership exactly when it mattered most. Whether supporting cashflow under pressure, preparing for growth, strengthening governance, talent augmentation, or delivering complex transactions, our focus remained the same: practical outcomes, not theoretical advice.
In 2025, we also leaned further into our role as strategic partners, not just finance specialists. We expanded our work across strategic planning, systems and data, forecasting, transformation, and leadership support. By combining technology with real-world CFO experience, we helped clients move from reactive decision-making to forward-looking control and confidence.
Just as importantly, I was reminded how critical trust and communication are. Our clients value straight-talking advice, accessibility, and consistency. We’ve built our business around being present, responsive, and genuinely invested in the success of those we work with.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move forward, our priorities are clear. In 2026, we will continue to deepen our impact by scaling access to high-quality CFO leadership, investing in our people and technology, and strengthening our sector and advisory specialisms. We will remain focused on helping businesses & growing SMEs build resilient financial foundations, make better decisions faster, and grow with confidence, no matter the economic backdrop.
Above all, we will stay true to our core belief: that great financial leadership should be flexible, human, and outcome-driven. That principle will continue to guide how we serve our clients, grow our team, and build The CFO HQ in the years ahead.
