The decisions behind the numbers
Revenue can grow while cash tightens. Reported profit can hide margin pressure. Management information can arrive too late to guide the next decision.
Our diagnostic brings the financial story together, helping CEOs, CFOs and owners understand the issues that deserve attention — and the actions worth prioritising.
Five connected perspectives
We connect the evidence across five areas, within a scope agreed for your business.
Review revenue, cost drivers and margin patterns to understand the quality and sustainability of earnings.
Assess cash generation, forecasting assumptions and near-term visibility to highlight pressure points.
Examine receivables, payables and inventory where relevant, identifying practical opportunities to improve the cash cycle.
Identify financial reporting, control and dependency risks that could weaken management decisions.
Translate findings into a prioritised set of actions, with indicative effort, ownership and sequencing.
A commercially grounded view of the issues, trade-offs and next steps that matter to your business.
A focused, structured engagement
Before the clock starts, we agree the scope, confirm access to the required information and mobilise the engagement. Timings depend on complete, usable information and stakeholder availability.

Scope and fee. £6,000 + VAT is the starting professional fee for the focused diagnostic described on this page. The proposal and statement of work confirm deliverables, entity coverage, assumptions and the final fee. Complex groups, substantial data reconstruction, specialist investigations and implementation require a separately agreed scope and fee.
Travel and expenses. The professional fee excludes travel to client sites for meetings, international travel, accommodation, subsistence and related out-of-pocket expenses. Where these are required, we will advise you of the expected costs and charging basis and obtain your written agreement before committing to or incurring them. Any applicable VAT will be set out in the proposal or agreed expense arrangements.
Payment and timing. 100% of the agreed professional fee is payable upfront following proposal acceptance. The five-working-day delivery period begins after mobilisation, including payment, complete usable information and agreed stakeholder access. Changes to scope, information readiness or availability may affect fees and timing; these will be discussed and agreed with you.
Nature of the service. This is advisory work, not a statutory audit, assurance opinion or guarantee of financial outcomes. Confidentiality, secure information-sharing and the full engagement terms are confirmed in the proposal and statement of work before commitment. Submitting an enquiry creates no obligation to purchase.
